JANUARY 2021 NEWS NOTES

Thank you for choosing to be a chamber member.   We certainly appreciate your membership, and we look forward to serving you in 2021.

The Chamber Board of Directors & I will soon gather (in one format or another) for a Strategic Planning Session.  Our desire is to form committees whereby to strengthen chamber services in our community.   Whether we take the lead or participate as a partner, we know we must continue to grow in areas pertaining to membership, leadership, advocacy, business development, community programs with business spotlights, and events/activities. 

The chamber will soon celebrate the launch of a new website that will link the following:

• Hempstead County Economic Development Corporation

• Hope-Hempstead County Chamber

• City of Hope – Tourism 

• Thrive Hempstead County 

We appreciate the opportunity to be included on the site that will certainly prove helpful not only for our community, but also for those planning to relocate or visit.

The chamber will kick off Let’s Go Live the week of January 18.  Let’s Go Live is a way to showcase your business as we go “live” (on Facebook) in your business on Tuesday or Thursday (noon or 12:30).   Now is the time to sign up for Let’s Go Live!  Please email beckie2502@sbcglobal.net & provide a date/time you would like to go “live”.  Also provide a contact number.   This is totally unscripted, but it has proven to be a great opportunity to shine the light on all that you do!  Thank you!
